The main objective of the project is to be able to obtain concrete results that will help to design the digitalisation strategy of the wine sector. In addition, not only the transfer of technology from research centres and companies, which also operate in other wine-growing regions, is and companies that also operate in other wine-growing regions, but it will also provide an estimate of the costs differentiated by production volume, which will allow for the costs differentiated by volume of production, which will speed up the digital transition of all Catalan wineries.
The specific objectives of this project are:
•The development of low-cost, interconnected tools to improve wine quality.
•Validate and specify the strategy so that the entire sector can become part of Industry 4.0.
•Transfer of technology (sensors) developed for other industries such as pharmaceuticals or chemicals to the agro-industrial sector to the agro-industrial sector.
•Training of technical staff to demonstrate the benefits of digitisation.
•Design of a digitalisation strategy adapted to all companies in the Catalan wine sector, regardless of their turnover.
