REGENERATIVE VITICULTURE

Regenerative viticulture for the improvement of biodiversity and management of the vineyard.

Aid for Cooperation for Innovation. Operation 16.01.01 of the RDP of Catalonia 2014-2020.

The main objective of the project is to demonstrate and validate agronomic practices that contribute to regenerating the health and vitality of agricultural soils for a more sustainable vineyard agriculture, under the concept of regenerative viticulture improving the biodiversity of crops in general of soils in particular.


The specific objectives of this project are:


• Improve the management of fertilizers and pesticides, with a gradual decrease in inputs used in the vineyard.
• Improve the management of rainwater and increase its capacity.
• To reduce to a minimum or non-existent values the erosion of the soils and to improve the management and management of the same.
• Restore, preserve and improve biodiversity (including microbial), the wine ecosystem to better integrate it into the surrounding ecosystems and protect the landscape value of the territory.
