On July 26th, INNOVI presented a total of 13 new proposals in two calls: the call from the Agency for Business Competitiveness (ACCIÓ) for Aid for Competitiveness Enhancement Initiatives for Cluster Projects (IRC) 2024, and the call from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism for AEIs 2024.

The proposals presented by INNOVI focus on three key areas: sustainability, digitalization in vineyards and wineries, and commercialization.

In the AEI call, we highlight the presentation of three projects that we coordinate:

• Creation of a collaborative network for digitalization and agro-climatic monitoring open data for pest prediction, reduction of pesticide use, and optimization of viticultural management.
• Development of a training tool based on virtual reality.
• Application of Artificial Intelligence to the wine sector.

Regarding the IRC projects, INNOVI has presented as coordinator 5 projects:

• Intelligent commercialization and distribution for the wine sector: from data analysis to AI.
• Development of the online commercialization platform for Catalan wineries.
• Digitalization of the wine sector within the Nuclear Zone.
• Positioning of wines produced with Grenache in the wine regions of Terra Alta.
• Production of healthier wines by reducing the use of sulfites and analyzing their alternatives.

A total of more than 30 partners are involved in these proposals, which together have a total budget value of over 1.5 million euros.

INNOVI expects to receive news about the status of these applications before the end of the year.
