Yesterday, November 29, a very constructive session took place with the participation of auxiliary industry and wineries, focused on addressing the challenges of the sector in the context of digitization. This work session was co-organized by INNOVI i2CAT, and took place at the Neapolis public innovation agency.
In this meeting, the importance of collaborative innovation to address the current challenges of the wine sector was highlighted. The session was conceived as a space for reflection and ideation, with the aim of designing pilot tests linked to the use of advanced digital technologies.
In this collaboration, there was the direct participation of technological companies, wineries and experts in the sector, with the aim of providing practical and effective solutions. The format of this session was different, as the participants arrived with prior knowledge of the challenges and lines of work in the wine sector, thanks to prior preparation by INNOVI and i2CAT. This made it possible to focus directly on possible technological solutions to address these challenges, defining 6 solutions covering various areas of the value chain, from the vineyard to the consumer.
The challenge now is to evolve these proposed solutions into tangible pilot tests that can be scaled to address industry needs. Numerous projects emerged from this session that will be incorporated into the database, with the hope of continuing to work on them in the coming months.
Special thanks were expressed to all participants and companies for their involvement and contribution to the creation of technological solutions for the challenges posed.
