INNOVI obtains a subsidy for 4 projects financed by ACCIÓ and its Aid to initiatives to strengthen competitiveness for clusters, presented this past year 2023 and awarded this month.

Community of Pruning, coordinated by INNOVI, with IRTA, URV, Gramona, Vitivin, Gala, Inaudit and other non-beneficiary partners, such as Gonzaga Santesteban and Julián Palacios – Viticultura Viva. This project will provide continuity and increase the representativeness and sectorial impact of the Pruning Academy, created in 2014 by INNOVI and which has provided knowledge in the form of respectful pruning courses to hundreds of people both in Catalonia and in the rest of the peninsula . A methodology, that of respectful pruning, which has as a fundamental feature the longevity of the plant and its balance, understanding balance as health, not focused only on production or the degree/acidity/pH relationship. A holistic view of the most important work in the vineyard. This qualitative leap involves the creation of a Pruning Community, made up of people who are experts in the field, which will generate value for the wine sector.

Innovative technology and strategies for improving the efficiency of water use in the wine sector (ViWaTec), Coordinated by the Catalan Water Partnership, with the involvement of INNOVI, the Catalan Wine Association, CIM Aigua, ABM Consulting, Geo Servei, DCCC, La Vinyeta, Sumarroca and Els Guiamets.

The objectives of the ViWaTec project are to promote innovative technologies and strategies to reduce water consumption in Catalonia's wineries, improve the competitiveness and resilience of the wine sector, and create synergies with other industrial sectors through Territorial Working Groups. This will be done through diagnostics, best practice guides, a catalog of technologies and the promotion of sustainability.

SINAVI: Creation of SInergies between the Audiovisual and Wine value chains to bring the culture of Catalan wine to young people, coordinated by the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia, with the participation of INNOVI, Vinyes Domènech, VINSEUM, Broadcaster and Celler Pan Pascual. The SINAVI project aims to create synergies between the audiovisual and wine value chains to bring the culture of Catalan wine closer to the public and, in a special way, to young people by giving prominence to a project led by a woman, for in order to generate new references.

New Advanced Support Tools for the Intelligent Observatory, Coordinated by Clúster Digital, with INNOVI, Grupo AIA, Clúster Àmbit, Kid's Clúster, Ebantic Systems, Vitivin, Timtul and Barcelona Super Computing Center. The main objective of this project is to develop a set of advanced tools designed to enhance the capabilities of clusters in the capture, processing and utilization of knowledge within their respective specialized domains. To achieve this, Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques will be used and new forms of advanced interaction with its users will be explored.
