On Monday, November 6, the Wica team, including Víctor Tirado, Innvation Manager of Innovi, began a mission to Chile with a visit to Wines of Chile, where they immersed themselves in Chilean wine history and production. There, they met the National Code of Sustability, which has accredited more than 70% of the exporting wineries in economic, environmental and social aspects. The day culminated in a visit to the Aresti winery.

The second day of the mission focused on technical challenges and opportunities at the University of Talca, followed by an approach to sustainable and quality production at Bouchon Family Wines and noble Wines.

The mission to Chile ended on Friday, November 10, with a visit to Miguel Torres Chile, where the team learned about the approach to local varieties and high value -added wines, highlighting both the local and export market.

The next stage of this mission brought innovi to Argentine lands. On November 13, they were able to present the Innovi Cluster and the Wica International Association at an event in Mendoza, co -organized by Wines of Argentina. This seminar, part of the project Sustaina Vitis al-Invest Verde, brought together European companies to show their innovative projects in the wine industry.

Magdalena Pesce, CEO of Wofa, provided a complete view of the Argentine wine industry, highlighting the spirit of collaboration. Later, the delegation visited Dervinsa-Innovación Sustainable, a biorefinery that manages 80% of organic matter of Argentine wineries.

On November 15, the mission went into the challenges of climate change, with an emphasis on research and development on topics such as granissate, solar damage, water management and soil composition.

This mission has been key to exploring innovative and avant -garde practices, as well as to strengthen collaborative efforts between public and private entities in Argentine viticulture.
