Departure from Barcelona on the 24th, arrival in Shenzhen on the 25th. Shared agenda on the afternoon of the 25th, on the 26th and 27th, and on the morning of the 28th. On the afternoon of the 28th, at 17:30, the INNOVI group will fly from Shenzhen to Yantai and will return to Barcelona on the night of the 30th.

INNOVI, together with other agri-food clusters, is organizing an innovation mission to China exclusively aimed at member companies, with the objective of gaining first-hand insight into some of the country’s leading technological, digital, and wine-sector references.

The mission will combine visits to major technology corporations with a specific immersion in the Chinese wine sector, focusing on digitalization, innovation, and opportunities for international collaboration.

• To identify the challenges and opportunities of the Chinese market for Catalan companies.

• To exchange experiences with key players in the innovation ecosystem.

Shenzhen – Technological and digital ecosystem

• Immersion in one of the most advanced technological ecosystems in the world.

• Visits to leading companies such as Tencent and DJI.

Yantai wine region

• 2 days dedicated to the Chinese wine sector.

• Visits to wineries.

• Analysis of the winegrowing context and the wine market in China.

Consumer Anthropology and Behavior in the Super-App Era, by Coral Puig

A session focused on how digitalization has profoundly transformed Chinese consumer behavior over the last decade.
From a digital anthropology and behavioral neuroscience perspective, the session analyzes:

• The super-app ecosystem, such as WeChat

• New consumption models and social–commercial relationships

• Social commerce, livestreaming, and online–offline (O2O) integration

The talk provides practical insights to help Catalan companies better understand and draw inspiration from this market.

Economic introduction to China, by Alicia García Herrero

An analysis of China’s economic context and its role in the global economy, delivered by one of Europe’s leading Asia-Pacific experts.
The session offers a strategic perspective on:

• China’s economic evolution

• Structural challenges

• Opportunities for international companies

Costs and economic conditions

Expenses to be covered by each participating company

• 6 hotel nights (selected accommodation): approx. €120 / night

• Meals: approx. €50 / person / day

• Remaining cost of the international flight

Costs covered by INNOVI

INNOVI will cover a significant part of the overall cost of the mission, specifically:

• €500 support per person to cover part of the international flight cost, in the form of a travel voucher, reimbursable once the flight has been purchased.

• Full design and execution of the professional agenda, in collaboration with ACCIÓ.

• Fees for speakers and local experts.

• Visits to companies, innovation centers, and technological institutions.

• Internal transportation by bus, according to the program.

• Interpreters during visits.

• Domestic flight from Shenzhen to Yantai.

International round-trip flights to and from Barcelona are not covered by INNOVI, although they are partially offset by the €500 travel voucher.

Recommended outbound flight

As participants must be in Shenzhen by the afternoon of January 25, the following itinerary operated by Air China is recommended:

• 24/01: Barcelona – Beijing
  11:25 – 05:30 (+1)

• 25/01: Beijing – Shenzhen
  10:00 – 13:30

Return flight

The return flight should be scheduled for the 30th, from 18:00 onwards.

Each participant may freely choose to:

• Return via Beijing

• Return via Shenzhen

• Or extend their stay independently

Required documentation

IMPORTANT: A visa is currently not required to enter China.
To manage bookings and logistics, the following will be required:

• A copy of the passport at the time of confirming participation.

• Indication of English proficiency level, to determine whether Spanish interpretation support is required during the visits.
